Terms of Use for DailyTasks

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using DailyTasks ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

License to Use

DailyTasks grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

Subscription Terms

DailyTasks offers a premium subscription with additional features:

• Free Version: Limited to 4 tasks with basic functionality
• Premium Subscription: Unlimited tasks, historical statistics, custom themes, and widget support

Payment and Billing

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
• Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings

Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy
• We do not offer refunds directly as all payments are processed by Apple

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
• Not use the App in any way that could damage or impair the service
• Back up your own data (all data is stored locally on your device)

Data and Backup

Important: All your data is stored locally on your device. DailyTasks does not provide cloud backup or sync. You are responsible for backing up your device to preserve your task data. Uninstalling the app or losing your device will result in permanent data loss.

Disclaimer of Warranties

DailyTasks is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Merchantability
• Non-infringement
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DailyTasks and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether direct or indirect, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill arising from:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Any data loss resulting from device failure or app uninstallation
• Any unauthorized access to your device
• Any bugs or errors in the App

Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the App at any time
• Change subscription pricing with notice
• Add or remove features
• Update these Terms of Use

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to design, text, graphics, and software, are owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without permission.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App will cease.

Third-Party Services

The App uses RevenueCat for subscription management and Apple's In-App Purchase system for payments. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service:

• Apple's Standard EULA

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and DailyTasks regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
